Based on the geographical reference established in its mission - the Three-Nation Region of Iguassu (Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay) - the area of ​​operation of Itaipu Technological Park (PTI) is defined in three aspects:

This division was adopted as a means of facilitating the understanding and aligning the objectives of the partners who co-inhabit the PTI. Thus, the actions are prioritized by the PTI focus on territories of activity and intensity of program and project actions.
