In operation since June 2009, the Municipal Educational Technology Nucleus (NTM) of Foz do Iguaçu has focused on promoting digital inclusion in the school community. The goal is to encourage the use of new information and communication technologies in pedagogical work.
The Center was created through a partnership between the PTI, the City of Foz do Iguaçu and the Ministry of Education. Its goal is to strengthen the idea that the deployment of information and communication technologies in schools highlights the need for rethinking issues in connection with learning and teaching practices.
In working on issues related to diversity, scope and speed of information, in addition to the integration of different technologies to pedagogical work, the NTM appears as an element of cooperation in the process of reorganization of pedagogical activity. The proposal is to make the TMN into reference point for exchange of experiences and building of knowledge.
